Health Book Summaries at a Great Price

Aug 26th, 2008 | By Hiram | Category: Featured, Fitness, Nutrition & Diet

I usually try to spend most of my time promoting my own website instead of someone elses but this site is such a neat resource that I just had to tell you about it.

Ever gone down to the bookstore and been overwhelmed at the shear volume of books on health, nutrition, diet, and fitness?  There are literally hundreds of them!  How could you ever possibly know which you should read and which should be left on the shelf?  This site will help.

Summaries of Popular Health Books

It’s called HealthBookSummaries.com and it offers exactly what it’s name implies – concise 10-15 page summaries of some of most popular health-related books on the market.  What to know the best part?  The best part is that these summaries are, are you ready for this, absolutely free.  That’s what I said, FREE.

This is a relatively new site so they’ve only got a limited number of summaries so far.  However, their plan is to write a minimum of 2 summaries per month.  You can get new summaries emailed to you as they become available.  All you have to do is to sign up.

How Do They Do It?

If you’re like me, the first thing you ask when something “free” comes along is “how do they do it.”  Apparently the site is supported through advertising that’s part of the summary, similar to a print magazine.  There are frequent affiliate links in the PDF file where you can purchase the book from Amazon.com and there are half page ads every couple of pages.

None of the advertising is obtrusive and it in no way gets in the way of reading the summary.  It’s a great balance between providing useful information and the financial realities of having to find a way to make a buck.

Summaries in MP3 Format

If you want to go beyond your free account, you can upgrade your membership for $7.95 per month and get both monthly summaries in MP3 format.  MP3 files are great to burn on CD’s so  you can listen in your car, or to store in your MP3 player and listen while walking or jogging.

What Are You Waiting For?

So, let’s see.  You get the ability to download a couple of 10-15 page summaries of popular health books and can expect to get 2 more each month.  Did I mention you get all this useful information for free?  Geez, these summaries just might save you $29.95 on a book you might have bought that doesn’t meet your needs or interests.

So what are you waiting for?  Get over to www.HealthBookSummaries.com and sign up!
